egistered participants will receive meet-up instructions.</strong></p>\n<p
 >Join us for a restorative 90-minute Forest Bath in the peaceful surroundi
ngs of Shevlin Park in Bend\, Oregon. Through a guided forest immersion me
ditation and a series of gentle invitations\, you'll slow down\, awaken yo
ur senses\, and deepen your connection with the natural world. We will con
clude our time together with a Forest Tea Ceremony\, offering space for re
flection\, gratitude\, and community. No hiking experience is required&mda
sh\;just a willingness to be present and receive the gifts of the forest.
Dress a bit warmer than you would if you were going for a hike and bring w
 ater.</p>\n<p><strong>What is Forest Bathing?</strong></p>\n<p>"Forest bat
hing\, also known as&nbsp\;shinrin yoku\, is a practice where participants
bathe themselves in the forest atmosphere. There is no water involved in
this practice\, and the bathing refers to immersing oneself in nature and
the phytoncides\, a group of chemicals which plants use to communicate wit
h each other. Scientists are finding that our bodies respond to these chem
ical signals in ways which are beneficial for us. Practicing forest bathin
g has been shown to increase immune response and decrease stress hormones
in the body."</p>\n<p><strong>What to Expect?</strong></p>\n<p>We will beg
in by slowly walking on an unpaved trail.&nbsp\; There will be invitations
to meditate\, share your experience with the group\, sit or lay down on a
yoga mat (provided)\, or stand and observe nature.&nbsp\; Total hiking di
stance of 1 mile over uneven terrain.</p>\n<p><strong>About the Instructor
