X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<h3>Quinn Connor</h3>\n<p>Quinn Connor is one
pen in two hands: Robyn Barrow and Alex Cronin. Both writers from&nbsp\;a
young age\, Barrow and Cronin met at Rhodes College in Memphis and togeth
er developed their unique co-writing voice. They are thankful that no matt
er what\,&nbsp\;there&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;always another person in the world wh
o cares about their characters as much as they do. An Arkansan and a Texan
 \, when they&nbsp\;aren&rsquo\;t&nbsp\;writing\,&nbsp\;they&rsquo\;re&nbsp
\;arguing about the differences between queso and cheese dip. Barrow is an
art historian of the medieval Nordic world and a PhD candidate at the Uni
versity of Pennsylvania. Cronin is a Texan living under a Brooklyn zip cod
e\, working in PR to fund her writing habit. Whether Barrow is wandering t
he Far North or Cronin is&nbsp\;chasing down&nbsp\;homemade pasta in Prosp
ect Heights\, they write all the time.&nbsp\;It&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;their prefe
 rred form of conversation.&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />Fascination turns to o
bsession in&nbsp\;<em>Your Beloved Remains</em>&nbsp\;as two women drag ea
ch other into an academic horror of forgery\, murder\, and rage. Archivist
Celia Kiel&nbsp\;resides&nbsp\;on the remote campus of fictional Basin Co
llege in Arkansas and commits herself to&nbsp\;maintaining&nbsp\;the legac
 y of Basin&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;founder\, 19th-century writer Beatrice Donahue.
While the college faces closure\, Celia will have to join forces with her
professional rival Joan Harriot&nbsp\;in order to&nbsp\;forge the completi
 on of&nbsp\;Beatrice&rsquo\;s&nbsp\;found&nbsp\;final manuscript. As their
world closes in and the ghosts of the Victorian past encroach\, their cre
ative collaboration spirals into an obsession more twisted than even their
beloved Beatrice could have penned.&nbsp\;</p>\n<h3>Carrie Lee South</h3>
\n<p>Carrie Lee South earned her MFA at the Arkansas Writers Workshop at t
he University of Central Arkansas\, where she served as the fiction editor
for the literary magazine&nbsp\;<em>Arkana</em>. She is currently the fic
tion editor at Story&nbsp\;Bottle Co. Her work has appeared in&nbsp\;<em>W
 axwing</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>F(r)iction</em>\, and&nbsp\;<em>Iron Horse Literar
 y Review</em>\, as well as on the&nbsp\;<em>Tales to Terrify</em>&nbsp\;po
dcast and elsewhere.&nbsp\;<em>In the Woods They Wait</em>&nbsp\;is her de
 but novel.&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />A park ranger at Arkansas&rsquo\;s Dev
il&rsquo\;s Den State Park becomes obsessed with the case of a missing chi
ld&mdash\;a case that mirrors the disappearance of her own brother\, whom
she lost in the woods many years ago&mdash\;and the possibility that both
were taken by something vicious and unnatural that lives deep in the Ozark
 s. Utterly absorbing and disquieting\,&nbsp\;<em>In the Woods They Wait</e
m>&nbsp\;is an enthralling page-turner\, one that asks how far you would g
 o for a sense of closure&mdash\;and&nbsp\;what you&nbsp\;would be willing
to face to get it.&nbsp\;</p>\n<hr />\n<p>ASL interpretation will be provi
ded for all Six Bridges sessions held in CALS Ron Robinson Theater. ASL in
terpretation for sessions at other CALS locations and Six Bridges venues (

 rg/asl-interpretation-request/">ASL Interpretation Request</a> form.</p>\n
