 r is the author of nine books of (mostly) fiction\, most recently a collec
 tion of one hundred&nbsp\;very short&nbsp\;ghost stories called&nbsp\;<em>
 The Ghost Variations.</em> He has&nbsp\;participated&nbsp\;in the Six Brid
 ges Book Festival each year since its&nbsp\;inception. His work has been t
 ranslated into eighteen languages\, and he divides his time between Little
  Rock\, where he was raised\, and Iowa City\, where he is a professor at t
 he Iowa Writers&rsquo\; Workshop.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;<br />&nbsp\;<br />Brockmei
 er will read a short excerpt from&nbsp\;a work&nbsp\;in progress.&nbsp\;</

  Bridges sessions held in CALS Ron Robinson Theater. ASL interpretation fo
 r sessions at other CALS locations and Six Bridges venues (including CALS 
 Main Library) will be provided by request. To request ASL interpretation\,

 tation-request/">ASL Interpretation Request</a> form.</p>\n<p>CALS will va
 lidate parking in the CALS Library Square surface lot and the CALS Parking
  Deck. The entrance to the surface lot is located on 2nd&nbsp\;Street near
  River Market Ave. The entrance to the parking deck is located on Rock Str
 eet and can be accessed from President Clinton Ave. Street parking is also
  available throughout the River Market District (free after 6pm and on wee
