X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Black Sun\, the first book in the trilogy\
, introduces us to the holy city of Tova. The winter solstice is usually a
time for celebration and renewal\, but this year it coincides with a sola
r eclipse\, a rare celestial event proscribed by the Sun Priest as an unba
lancing of the world.</p>\n<p>Meanwhile\, a ship launches from a distant c
ity bound for Tova and set to arrive on the solstice. The captain of the s
hip\, Xiala\, is a disgraced Teek whose song can calm the waters around he
r as easily as it can warp a man&rsquo\;s mind. Her ship carries one passe
 nger. Described as harmless\, the passenger\, Serapio\, is a young man\, b
lind\, scarred\, and cloaked in destiny. As Xiala well knows\, when a man
is described as harmless\, he usually ends up being a villain.</p>\n<p>Whe
ther you are a longtime fan of the trilogy or searching for your next imme
rsive fantasy read\, this is an event you won&rsquo\;t want to miss out on
.</p>\n<p>Register today to go behind the scenes with one of speculative f
