 ong></p>\n<p>Great Osa-oni is a filmmaker based in the Waterloo region. <s
 trong>Journey of Resilience</strong> is Great&rsquo\;s capstone project fo
 r Conestoga College&rsquo\;s Broadcasting &ndash\; Television and Independ
 ent Production program. The film reflects the spirit and experiences of ou
 r local community.</p>\n<p>The film has received recognition\, including:<

 ners/about-immigration-partnership/">Immigration Partnership</a> organizes
  the Waterloo <a href="https://www.immigrationwaterlooregion.ca/partners/b
 elong/community-events-and-initiatives/waterloo-region-migration-film-fest
 ival/">Region Migration Film Festival (WRMFF)</a> annually to facilitate g
 reater discussion around migration and relocation. This is achieved by cre
 ating spaces for respectful interaction and dialogue. Storytelling is the 
 oldest way to share and have impactful conversations around social issues.
  WRMFF serves as an educational tool that can influence perceptions and at
 titudes toward migrants by bringing attention to matters that affect basic
  human rights! These films\, set in a Canadian context\, highlight both th
 e opportunities and challenges of migration\, showcasing the contributions
  and experiences of immigrants in Canada. All three films aim to spark mea
 ningful conversations and will resonate with a diverse audience\, includin
 g individuals who do not speak English and those who are struggling to fin
