 heartfelt work of&nbsp\;artist and author Carmen Lomas Garza\, whose&nbsp\
 ;paintings&nbsp\;and paper cut art&nbsp\;(<em>papel&nbsp\;picado</em>) cel
 ebrate Mexican&ndash\;American family traditions and everyday moments. We 
 will&nbsp\;dabble with scissors\, paper\, and thread to create our own&nbs
 p\;<em>papel&nbsp\;picado</em> banners!</p>\n<p><em><strong>Registration b
 egins October 19 for October 26's program. Participants must be ages 7&nda
 sh\;11. To ensure successful signup\, each child needs to be registered se
 parately\, using the child's first and last name on the registration form.
  A library card number is not required.&nbsp\;</strong></em>Children in gr
 ade 5 and below must have a caregiver on library premises during the progr
 am.</p>\n<p>No younger siblings may attend this program\; however\, we do 
 offer <span style="text-decoration: underline\;"><a href="https://carmelcl

 ble Jr. program</a></span> designed specially for children ages 4&ndash\;6
 .</p>\n<p>Please enjoy all snacks before and after the program. We ask all
  attendees to refrain from eating during the program so that all participa
