br />El 6 de noviembre\, el Open Arts Center se convertirá\; en el v
ibrante centro de la celebració\;n del Dí\;a de Muertos en el
centro de Oregó\;n\, una noche llena de cultura\, recuerdo y conexi&
oacute\;n. Má\;s que un simple festival\, el Dí\;a de Muertos
es una tradició\;n arraigada en las prá\;cticas indí\;ge
nas de pueblos como los mexicas\, los zapotecas\, los puré\;pechas y
los mayas. A travé\;s de las generaciones y las fronteras geogr&aac
ute\;ficas\, las familias encienden velas\, construye altares y comparten
ofrendas de comida\, mú\;sica y flores para dar la bienvenida a los
espí\;ritus de sus seres queridos. En el corazó\;n de este eve
nto está\;n las historias familiares y comunitarias que dan forma a
quienes somos. A travé\;s de la mú\;sica\, la danza\, el arte
y el espacio compartido\, nos unimos má\;s allá\; de las cultu
ras para afirmar que la dignidad\, el sentido de pertenencia y la alegr&ia

On November 6th\, the Open Arts Center will become the vibrant
home of Central Oregon&rsquo\;s Dí\;a de Muertos celebration\, a pow
erful evening of culture\, remembrance\, and connection. More than a festi
val\, Dí\;a de Muertos is a tradition rooted in Indigenous practices
from nations such as the Mexica\, Zapotec\, Puré\;pecha\, and Maya.
Across generations and geographies\, families light candles\, build altar
s\, and share offerings of food\, music\, and flowers to welcome the spiri
ts of loved ones. At the heart of this event are family and community stor
ies that shape who we are. Through music\, dance\, art\, and shared space
we come together across cultures to affirm that dignity\, belonging\, and
joy live on\, in both life and death.
