 here to start with your own sewing projects by preparing materials and pat
 terns for a winter snowflake decoration. Patrons will learn how to read pa
 tterns\, select fabric and thread\, and have everything ready to sit down 
 at a machine and sew. <em>There is no sewing done within this&nbsp\;progra
 m\, only the steps leading up to sewing (machine or hand).</em> Patrons wi
 ll receive the supplies and knowledge to finish their project during Studi
 o Hours. All Studio Hours are listed online at acpl.info/the-studio. Limit
 ed to 12 participants.</p>\n<p>This program was designed for 7th grade and
  up\, but younger children may attend if an adult/guardian/caregiver is pr
 esent to assist them throughout the program. Each child in sixth grade or 
 younger attending the program must be directly supervised and assisted by 
 a responsible caregiver while in the Studio. Most ACPL programs welcome gu
 ests\, however the Studio programs can only accommodate registered patrons
  and their supervising caregivers.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Space is limited:
