Does your stuffed animal need a bit of a p ick-me-up? Perhaps those paws and tails aren't looking so spiffy anymore? Come and learn how to give your friend a fun makeover.
\nWe'll learn to add patches\, embroidered details\, weighted materials\, and even scen t sachets.
\nPatrons will need to bring their own stuffed an imal(s) (or the stuffed animal of a sibling or other loved one\, with perm ission). All other supplies are provided.
\nLimited to 8 participants.
\nThis program provides a supportive an d inclusive environment for teens to connect with others who understand th eir unique experiences and challenges. We provide a low-sensory environmen t and can accommodate different needs and preferences to ensure that every one can participate and feel comfortable. From game nights and crafts to m ovie nights and book discussions\, this program offers a range of activiti es that cater to different interests\, needs\, and abilities. Whether you are autistic\, have ADHD\, sensory sensitivities\, an intellectual disabil ity\, or any other neurodivergent condition\, you are invited to join in! Caregivers are not required to stay in the room but should stay in the lib rary to be available if needed.
