Department of Mental Health Promoters Work shops tackle a range of mental health topics to help Angelenos \;under stand and manage their mental health. We are working to reduce stigma and empower individuals to seek help when needed and recognize problems before they become crises.
\nIn this program\, we'll discuss some of the m ental health challenges faced by many immigrants and the trauma those chal lenges can cause. We'll look at stressors often felt by immigrants and way s to help support and build resiliency within Los Angeles' immigrant commu nities.
