The Black History 101 Mobile Muse um is the nation&rsquo\;s premier traveling exhibition of Black history\, featuring over 15\,000 original artifacts that span from the trans-Atlanti c slave trade to the cultural impact of hip hop. Founded by Dr. Khalid el- Hakim\, the mobile museum is a renowned repository of more than 10\,000 or iginal artifacts ranging from the trans-Atlantic slave trade to hip-hop cu lture. It has a diverse collection of authentic documents bearing the sign atures of revered figures such as Martin Luther King Jr.\, Angela Davis\, Carter G. Woodson\, Mary Mcleod Bethune and many more.

The mobile museum has visited numerous colleges\, corporate spaces\, libraries\, fest ivals and conferences spanning more than 40 states and 1\,000 institutions and is coming to SOMA and the surrounding area on October 3rd and 4th.
