  setting out to write a novel. Linear\, non-linear\, mixed media\, epistol
 ary forms&mdash\;there are so many ways to structure a novel. Plus\, a non
 -traditional structure can make the whole process a lot more fun. In this 
 Novel Day presentation\, we'll discuss the plusses and pitfalls of differe
 nt novel structures from someone who has tried almost all of them. We'll l
 ook at examples and share tips for how to keep it all together.&nbsp\;</p>
 \n<p>This event is part of Novel Day. Novel Day is a celebration of the cr
 aft of writing novels\, featuring workshops and panels presented by some o
 f the most beloved novelists in our region. Writers at all stages of their
  writing lives\, newbies and published writers alike\, are welcome to atte
 nd.</p>\n<p>About the presenter:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Stephanie Oakes is the aut
 hor of <em>The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly</em>\, which was a Morris Award f
 inalist\, <em>The Arsonist</em>\, which won the Washington State Book Awar
 d and was an ALA/YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults pick\, and her most r
 ecent novel\, <em>The Meadows</em>. Stephanie is middle school teacher fro
 m Spokane\, WA.</p>\n<p>By attending library programs\, you are agreeing t
