In this session\, a Registered Dietician f rom UCHealth&rsquo\;s Diabetes and Medical Nutrition Therapy department wi ll explain what pre-diabetes is and how it progresses to Type 2. Participa nts will learn about the risk factors and long-term problems associated wi th diabetes\, as well as how physical activity\, good nutrition\, and weig ht loss can lower blood glucose and contribute to prevention.
