 ersey's Island Beach State Park every year. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>In addition to
  almost ten miles of pristine beaches untouched by modern development\, a 
 small community of shacks owned and constructed by fishermen and outdoor e
 nthusiasts lay hidden among the natural dunes.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>At one time 
 there were approximately one-hundred-nineteen shacks.&nbsp\; Some were onl
 y the size of a small garage while others were comfortable vacation homes.
 &nbsp\; With the exception of the "Judge's Shack" which was placed on the 
 New Jersey Register of Historic Places\, they have been torn down.</p>\n<p
 >These photographs share my experience and include shacks that are no long
 er standing and owners who are now deceased.</p>\n<p>Opening Reception wil
