 /h4>\n<p>The Baumann Site is a 15th century settlement&nbsp\;in Oro-Medont
 e. It was excavated several&nbsp\;decades ago and is still the subject of
 specialist research\, especially the pottery.</p>\n<p>The Baumann Village\
 , located northwest&nbsp\;of Warminster\, is a small 15th century&nbsp\;We
ndat village site characterized by a&nbsp\;large proportion of distinctive
Lalonde&nbsp\;High Collar pottery. Since final analysis&nbsp\;of the mate
rial remains of the village is in&nbsp\;its preliminary stages\, Susan Dem
arkar will be presenting a general overview of&nbsp\;the site and its rela
tive place within the greater Wendat occupation of Southern&nbsp\;Ontario\
, relying heavily on the work of Dr. Marianne Stopp.&nbsp\;She will introd
uce various aspects of the settlement pattern\, lithics&nbsp\;and bone art
ifacts recovered over several years of excavation led&nbsp\;by Dr. Stopp a
nd Dr. Dean Knight. A more in-depth description of&nbsp\;the ceramics will
round out the presentation.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>About the Presenter:</
