 s and practices typically held when getting ready for and celebrating Diwa
 li\, the festival of lights.</li>\n<li>The content is suitable for adults 
 who wish to learn more about Diwali and the Indian culture\, regardless of
  culture or religion.</li>\n<li>It is delivered by a mix of presenters in 
 the Getjawil Multipurpose Room on the first floor of the library.</li>\n<l
 i>It will cover:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Exploratory Q&amp\;A talk and discussi
 on</strong>&nbsp\;- with Smita Bhandari\, local picture book author of <a 
 href="https://thespiritofdiwali.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span
  style="text-decoration: underline\; color: #333399\;">The Spirit of Diwal
 i</span></a>. Smita will introduce what Diwali is all about\, explain the 
 significance of bringing the dark into light\, the days in the lead up and
  how they incorporate and celebrate Diwali with their family in Geelong.&n
 bsp\;</li>\n<li><strong>Learn about arts and decorations</strong>&nbsp\;- 
 What diwali decorations are typically used and their significance to diwal
 i\, the materials used\, placing and the different designs. Facilitated de
 monstration then design of a Rangoli by Priyanka from the <span style="col
 or: #333399\;"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=6159164540
 1799" target="_blank" rel="noopener" style="color: #333399\;"><span style=
 "text-decoration: underline\;"><span style="color: #333399\;">Art of Henna
 </span></span></a></span>.</li>\n<li><strong>Learn about saree dress\, acc
 essories and wearables -</strong> learn about the different traditional at
 tire and dress wear in India\, the jewellery\, accessories and how they si
 gnify different meanings and different wear for Diwali. There will be a pr
 actical saree-draping demonstration and a chance to try on a saree.&nbsp\;
 </li>\n<li><strong>Chat with chai and light refreshments -</strong> an opp
 ortunity for you to chat and connect with chai\, ask any other questions a
