\nHill will explain how coffee can affect local backya rd birds by conserving habitat for migratory birds on coffee farms. She&rs quo\;ll describe the link between coffee and bird conservation\, discuss w hat makes Bird Friendly certification the gold-standard for biodiversity p rotection\, and share how to purchase bird-friendly coffee.
\nHill i s a conservationist at heart and an educator by training\, with 15 years o f experience working to engage audiences in the protection of wildlife and wild places. As the Smithsonian&rsquo\;s Bird Friendly Program Manager\, she works alongside coffee companies to increase consumer awareness and su pport for Bird Friendly certified coffee.
