 tart-to-finish guided sewing program making a set of 4 coasters with the h
 ourglass block design (quarter square triangles). To make our coasters we 
 will be using stable woven fabric and quilt batting.</p>\n<p>We will provi
 de a limited selection of fabrics\, but you are more than welcome to bring
  your own materials if you have any you would prefer to use. If you bring 
 your own fabric\, please make sure it is a stable woven. The fabric can be
  made of any material\, but we recommend non-slippery fabrics that are not
  thick.</p>\n<p>We have 5 sewing machines available for the workshop. If y
 ou have your own machine you would like to bring\, please let us so know s
 o we can set up the room accordingly. If you have any questions\, please c

 <em>Participants in this adult program need to know some sewing machine ba
 sics such as threading a machine and sewing straight lines.</em></p>\n<p s
 tyle="text-align: left\;"><strong>Weekly Schedule:</strong></p>\n<p style=
 "text-align: left\;">October 13: Cutting\, sewing the quarter square trian
 gles\, making at least one coaster</p>\n<p style="text-align: left\;">Octo
 ber 20: Finishing</p>\n<p style="text-align: left\;"><em>If you are more a
 dvanced at sewing\, you may finish the coasters in one session. Two sessio
 ns are provided so participants with less experience have time to finish t
 heir projects and ask any questions they need to along the way.</em></p>\n

 ><strong>Supplies:</strong></p>\n<p style="text-align: left\;">We will pro
 vide all materials\, however you are welcome to bring your own fabric and 
 thread if you prefer.&nbsp\;<strong></strong></p>\n<p>For this project you
  will need:</p>\n<ul>\n<li style="text-align: left\;">Two 9" squares in co
 ntrasting fabrics</li>\n<li style="text-align: left\;">One 9.5" square for
  the backing&nbsp\;<strong>OR&nbsp\;</strong>four 4.75" squares of any des
 ign of the backings</li>\n<li style="text-align: left\;">Four 4.75" square
 s of quilt batting</li>\n<li style="text-align: left\;">Matching or contra
