Therapy dogs are specially trained for thi s activity and can help reduce your child&rsquo\;s stress and anxiety. Rea ding to dogs can boost reading skills in children as well as help with emo tional and social skills\, giving your child the opportunity to read to a canine buddy or companion in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Join us in the Book Nook between 3:30 and 4:30 pm every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of ea ch month to give your child an opportunity to practice their reading skill s one-on-one with a trained therapy dog. Spots are available on a first-co me\, first-served basis. This activity is for all ages (everyone). Sign in begins 3:00 pm. Billy loves to be read to and socialized with. Attendance is limited.
