The Vallejo John F. Kennedy is hosting a s tart-to-finish guided sewing program making a heating pad cover. To make o ur coasters we will be using an old flannel sheet.
\nWe will provide one fabric option\, but you are more than welcome to bring your own mater ials if you have any you would prefer to use. If you bring your own fabric \, please make sure it is a stable woven. We recommend flannels (like an o ld flannel shirt\, pajama bottoms\, or a pillow case) for cozier experienc e when using the heating pads\, but quilting cottons and linens would work as well.
\nWe have 5 sewing machines available for the workshop. If you have your own machine you would like to bring\, please let us so know so we can set up the room accordingly. If you have any questions\, please call the library: (866) 572-7587. \;
\nDue to limited machinery and supplies\, we require registration f or this event. \;
\nAlthough this program is offered on the 3rd and the 17th\, this is a standalone workshop that will be done in one session.

\nOne pie ce of fabric that is slightly bigger than the heating pad when folded in h alf. Alternatively\, if you have old flannel clothes that you can upcycle\ , you can use that instead.
