 >Cambridge 50+ Choir</a>. Comprising over 30 talented members\, this vibra
nt local choir is ready to fill the library with spirited seasonal harmoni
es\, classic holiday carols\, a few newer pieces\, and plenty of cheer. Co
me out\, support our local singers\, and let their uplifting voices make y
 our holiday season bright!</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>About Cambridge
  50+ Choir</strong></p>\n<p>In the 1990s\, an informal choir was&nbsp\;con
vened operating out of the Lions Club Seniors Activities in Cambridge. The
y were few in number\, beginning by singing in unison and simple harmony.
After the group moved to the David Durward Centre\, with Jeanne Murray as
director\, they took on the name "The Cambridge Seniors&rsquo\; Choir". Je
anne created a more formal choir with structured choral harmony. All membe
rs of the Durward Centre were welcome to join\, the only requirement being
a love of singing and choral music. Mallory Moxon-Carson has directed thi
s delightful group of people since 2003\, now known as the Cambridge 50+ C
hoir\, still singing every Friday morning at the David Durward Centre\, pe
rforming twice a month for local retirement residences\, and producing two
  annual concerts every year.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><stro
