*Special Note: Art with Liz will be held at a new location while the libra
ry is under construction. Classes will be held at Hoboken Library's Grand
Street branch\, located at 124 Grand Street\, on the second floor\, in the
  Health Department's program room.</span></p>\n<p><span style="background-
color: #ffff00\;">Please follow the way finding signs once you enter the b
uilding. If you cannot make it in person\, you can register to receive a z
oom link so you can join remotely and or watch us on YouTube either on the
same day or view the class video at your leisure.</span></p>\n<p>Aliza Ni
senbaum will be our final artist. Born in Mexico City\, Nisenbaum paints i
ntimate\, moving portraits of Latin American<br />immigrants. The subjects
of her recent work are often undocumented immigrants\, portrayed in bold
 colors against patterned interiors<br />and private spaces.</p>\n<p>Discus
sion of Nissanbaum&rsquo\;s work may trigger memories of family histories
and origin myths that will help them create the art project<br />of the da
 y. Students will be encouraged to share stories and tales of their own anc
estors and the immigrant or enslaved history of<br />their families. They
will then create water color story or portrait paintings that convey a fee
ling of their pride in their ancestral beginnings.</p>\n<p>This class is o
pen to artists of any level\, including beginners. All are welcome!</p>\n<
p>This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube.</
p>\n<p>Registration is required whether you are attending in person or onl
ine. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class. You will receive th
e Zoom link and password 15 minutes before the class begins.</p>\n<p>If yo
