 rkshop is an interactive early literacy program for new and expectant pare
 nts. In this interactive program\, you will learn about supporting your ba
 by's development with books\, songs\, rhymes\, and fun activities you and 
 baby can do together.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;<br /><br />This workshop will r
 un approximately one hour\, with an optional 30 minutes after the workshop
  for socialization with other participants\, and for interaction with libr
 ary staff and other county services. We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes
  early to get comfortable with the space.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Registration is r
 equired\, and space is limited to expectant parents and families with babi
 es 0-4 months old: <strong>only one registration per family is necessary t
 o reserve your spot.</strong> Please register just once for all three sess
 ions.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Families who attend will receive a FREE tote bag that
  includes a book\, a toy\, and a song book!&nbsp\; &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This th
 ree-session series is designed for expectant families and babies 0-4 month
 s and their parents/guardians. Each interactive session is designed to sti
 mulate babies' learning process\, and each session builds on the previous 
 session.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Each session will have a different focus for famil
 ies:&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Session 1: Baby&rsquo\;s Brain on <stron
 g>February 25</strong></li>\n<li>Session 2: Read\, Talk and Sing with Baby
  on <strong>March 4</strong></li>\n<li>Session 3: Building a Routine on<st
 rong> March 11</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>FUN FACTS:</strong> Readin
 g and singing help your baby's brain and language development. Reciting nu
 rsery rhymes and singing songs help your baby get ready to read. Babies wh
 o have been exposed to books and reading grow up to become children who pe
 rform better in school.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This workshop is made possib
 le with the help of the <strong><a href="https://folmc.org/">Friends of th
 e Library\, Montgomery County</a></strong> and <a href="https://mgol.net/"
