 ng. It is a nonpartisan\, facilitated process that will bring together a r
 epresentative group of Milwaukee residents to learn about our local housin
 g landscape and develop concrete recommendations for the City of Milwaukee
 . Together\, participants will explore the following question from the may
 or's office: "How should the City of Milwaukee invest in housing in 2028 a
 nd 2029?"</p>\n<p><span style="text-decoration: underline\;"><strong>You d
 o not</strong> need to be an expert to participate</span>. Your experience
  as someone who lives in the community is what matters most.</p>\n<p><stro
 ng>Important Information to Know Before Applying</strong>:&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul
 >\n<li>The event is all day from 9am - 3pm. Free parking is available at M
 ilwaukee Public Library's King branch parking lot.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</li>\n<li
 >36 Milwaukee residents will be chosen by lottery to take part.</li>\n<li>
 If selected\, you&rsquo\;ll receive $100 for full participation.</li>\n<li
 >To be considered\, please apply by October 23\, 2026. If selected\, you w
 ill be notified by October 30.</li>\n<li>Families welcome. Children under 
 the age of 8 must be with a responsible parent\, legal guardian or caregiv
