Winter is just about upon us! If you're mi ssing getting outside to see some beautiful birds\, come by and connect in doors with some board game birding. We&rsquo\;re partnering with the Femin ist Bird Club DMV and invite you to join us for their next meet-up to play Wingspan\, the fun board game about birds created by local game designer Elizabeth Hargrave. Join us to play as birders seeking to attract the best birds to our network of wildlife preserves.
\nWingspan beginners ar e welcome! No prior experience required\, but we do recommend watching a < a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgDgcLI2B0U" title="Link to youtub e tutorial">YouTube clip before attending to get a sense of the game. If you own a copy of the game and want to bring it\, that would be great! More games mean we can have more players\, so please let us know here: adu ltservices.dcpl@dc.gov.
\nWe&rsquo\;re meeting on Saturday\, Decembe r 19th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Martin Luther King\, Jr. Memorial Libr ary\, Room 401-A. You can find it in the Conference Center of the 4th floo r.
\nWe ask that everyone participating wear a mask so that those wh o are immunocompromised in our community can attend. If you need a mask\, we will have extras. Please let us know if you have any questions or acces sibility needs by emailing the Feminist Bird Club DMV leadership team (fbc .dmv@gmail.com). We want everyone\, especially members of the LGBTQIA+ com munity\, disabled people\, BIPOC\, and women\, to feel welcome.
