X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>The group is open to those interested in w
riting and the publishing process. Meetings are run by using a 'pass the t
orch' method\; everyone is encouraged to participate\, but it is not a req
uirement. Our main purpose is to try to help each other through the maze o
f things you must do as writers\; from writing to editing and on to publis
hing and marketing your books\, short stories\, essays\, or anything else.
Discussion topics will vary and sometimes repeat depending upon the needs
of the members at the time. Of course\, we're also here to meet some inte
resting folks\, learn\, and have fun while doing so. Writers are invited t
 o share what they're working on with everyone\, but &lsquo\;selling from t
he podium&rsquo\; is frowned upon. We meet on the second Wednesday of each
month at 6:30 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.</p>\nhttps://durangopub
