X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>A dynamic collection of shorts revealing t
 he fight for truth&mdash\;spotlighting whistleblowers\, documentarians\, a
nd the power of going on the record. Screenings will be followed by a Q&am
p\;A with the filmmakers.</p>\n<h4>They&rsquo\;re Here | directed by Laura
Poitras\, Rachel Lauren Mueller | 24 min</h4>\n<p>When hundreds and then
thousands of masked immigration agents descended on Minneapolis in the win
ter of 2025\, residents put on their boots and picked up their cameras. <s
 trong>They&rsquo\;re Here</strong>\, from Oscar-winning filmmaker Laura Po
itras and Rachel Mueller\, is built from footage shot by local activists w
ho tracked ICE operations and the challenges to them across the city.<br /
 >&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<h4>A Month in Minnesota | directed by Anne Sundberg
 | 40 min</h4>\n<p><strong>For A Month in Minnesota</strong>\, director Ann
e Sundberg took her camera inside\, too\, capturing a city on edge\, whose
residents refused to look the other way. In one astonishing moment\, a he
avily armed ICE agent throws his hand before a camera filming an injured m
an curled up on the ground.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>"Do not block my camera!" the y
oung man shouts at the agent.&nbsp\;"It is our one right\, and you know th
at!"&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>These films stand as a reminder of how powerful
that right can be.</p>\n<hr />\n<h4>About the Double Exposure (DX) Film F

/strong>Alongside premieres of bold new short films\, the DX Public Forum
brings panels\, workshops\, and conversations that open the tools of accou
ntability filmmaking to all. The festival is grounded in the idea that the
rights to document\, to question\, and to demand transparency do not belo
ng solely to journalists. The ability to film in public spaces\, to access
public records\, to recognize manipulated media&mdash\;these are shared c
ivic tools.</p>\n<p>The MLK Library welcomes audiences who have felt the g
round shift under what they thought they knew\, and who come seeking clari
ty\, context\, and a deeper understanding of how truth is made&mdash\;and
 unmade&mdash\;today.</p>\n<p>To learn more visit:&nbsp\;<a href="https://d
