 ng></p>\n<p>The West End Library Friends is a 501c(3) committed to support
 ing a dynamic and revitalized branch that serves the current needs and exp
 ectations of the community\, by supporting services and programs at the li
 brary and providing assistance to branch staff and patrons. The Friends wa
 s incorporated in 1990 as a non-profit organization. All dues and donation
 s to the Friends are fully deductible.</p>\n<p>The Friends provide volunte
 er support for the branch and the library system in areas such as public a
 wareness\, advocacy\, and community outreach. During the current membershi
 p year\, the Friends have provided resources to the branch and the D. C. P
