This workshop provides hands-on training i n CPR\, AED use\, opioid overdose response with naloxone\, and bleeding co ntrol techniques. It is led by Zoya Masood\, a University of Maryland stud ent and member of Every Minute Matters\, an initiative dedicated to expand ing access to first aid education for youth across Maryland.
\nAtten dees may be eligible to earn 1 SSL hour for active participation and demon stration of learned skills.

\nLibrary Program Att endance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL progra m under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a p rogram intended for children must have an accompanying child.
