Today&rsquo\;s headlines are full of stori es of our friends\, neighbors\, and valued community members being kidnapp ed off the street or from their homes and placed in indefinite detention w ithout due process&ndash\;U.S. citizens and non-citizens alike.

As part of the reception for the "Topaz Stories: What Is an American?" exhib it at Central\, survivors and descendants of Topaz\, a U.S. concentration camp in Utah for Japanese Americans during WWII\, will share their family stories of forced removal and mass detention. They will participate in a p anel discussion about their family&rsquo\;s experiences in detention\, how those experiences impacted subsequent lives and generations\, and give th eir perspective on the question of &ldquo\;What is an American?&rdquo\;
