strong></h3>\n<p>Indie sensation Jonathan Edward Durham joins Authors! to
discuss his dark fantasy thriller\, <em>Winterset Hollow</em>. Durham will
share the story behind his book's journey to becoming a viral word-of-mou
th hit and how he balances his background in neuroscience with his love fo
r dark literary horror. The evening includes a 45-minute presentation foll
owed by an audience Q&amp\;A session. Every ticket includes a copy of the
 book.</p>\n<h3><strong>About the book</strong></h3>\n<p><em>Winterset Holl
ow</em> follows Eamon and his two closest friends\, Caroline and Mark\, as
they travel to Addington Isle to visit the setting that inspired their fa
vorite childhood book. They hope to explore the island that sparked the ti
meless fable about a group of animals preparing for an end-of-summer festi
val. But after breaking into the author's seemingly abandoned estate\, the
trio discovers the story is real and far darker than they ever imagined.
To survive the trip\, they must navigate a deadly reality where making it
to the final chapter could cost them everything. This edition also include
s the complete version of the fictional book within the story\, Winterset
Hollow\, as written by the fictional author Edward Addington.</p>\n<h3><st
rong>About the author</strong></h3>\n<p>Jonathan Edward Durham grew up in
Eastern Pennsylvania and studied literature and neuroscience at William &a
mp\; Mary. He writes to connect the wonder of his favorite childhood stori
es with the fast-paced feel of the classic thrillers he grew up reading. I
n addition to his fiction\, Durham reaches a wide audience online through
his humor writing and short stories featured on Substack. He lives in the
