This class is for adults only. Registration is required. Preference is given to Reading r esidents. All others will be put on a waiting list. \;

About the instructor:

\n

Carol St ratton began sewing at a young age with her grandmother. She worked at The Fabric Place in the Woburn Mall\, and then for a wedding dress designer. Carol went on to finish her Elementary Education degree\, and taught in th e Stoneham Public Schools for 26 years until her retirement in 2016. After Covid\, she worked at Quilters Common quilt shop in Wakefield as a superv isor during the Sit &\; Sew class on Monday. Carol is still an avid sew ist and quilter\, enjoying other needle crafts such as knitting and embroi dery.
