 ood Pick-up?&nbsp\; You're in for a treat!&nbsp\; We offer a comfortable\,
  boutique-like food rescue experience unlike any other in Indian Springs.&
 nbsp\; We do have a line and limit the number of folks in the Library spac
 e to ensure safety. We have staff and volunteers to walk you through your 
 experience\, and even offer car-side service!&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>What 
 a food rescue?</strong></p>\n<p>Food rescue is a little different from foo
 d pantries.&nbsp\; Food rescues have little to no barriers\, like income r
 equirements.&nbsp\; In our case\, we only ask for a sign-in to record our 
 numbers.&nbsp\; Food rescues take food that is still good but about to com
 e up on its expiration and best-by dates\, has damaged outer packaging\, a
 nd gets it into the hands of people like you! This reduces food waste.&nbs
 p\; Based on an EPA estimate\, "Food waste comprises&nbsp\;about 24 percen
 t of municipal solid waste disposed of in landfills. Due to its quick deca
 y rate\, food waste in landfills is contributing to more&nbsp\;methane emi
 ssions&nbsp\;than any other landfilled materials."&nbsp\; With one vehicle
  transporting all this food\, we can also reduce emissions.</p>\n<p><stron
 g>See below for additional details:</strong></p>\n<p>Staff start sign-ins 
 as early as at 10:00am.&nbsp\; Attendees may then hang out in our lobby sp
 ace or leave and return later.&nbsp\; Attendees may sign up throughout the
  course of the day\, but this is the earliest sign-in time.</p>\n<p>The In
 dian Springs Library will be ready for our food pick-up with our first per
 son being in at 11:30 am.&nbsp\; We will host the first round of this resc
 ue until 2:25 pm.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Following that\, if we have additional fo
 od left\, we'll go into Second Helpings\, starting at 3 pm until 3:30 pm\,
  or until the food is gone!</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>For those arriving early\, pl
 ease note we will have limited chairs in the lobby\, courtesy of our local
  Clark County Parks and Rec crew.&nbsp\; Doors and entryways that must rem
 ain clear for traffic are marked by blue tape\, and we ask chairs not be m
 oved.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are coming in only for Library s
 ervices\, please skip the line and come on in! We'll have staff to help yo
 u out.</li>\n<li>If you are here for Library services AND food\, please wa
 it in line.&nbsp\; We'll have staff come out to get returns\, get your hol
 ds checked out\, etc.</li>\n<li>If you are only here for food\, please hop
  in line.&nbsp\; We don't want you missing out on your spot signing in.</l
 i>\n<li>If you are feeling under the weather\, don't do well in crowded an
 d busy areas\, have mobility limitations\, etc.\, please give us a call af
 ter 11:30 when you arrive in the parking lot.&nbsp\; We'll do our best to 
 put you on the list in the order people have arrived and will call you whe
 n it's your turn.&nbsp\; Staff will shop and curbside your items for you!<
 /li>\n</ul>\n<p>Due to limited food availability and high demand\, we are 
 asking that everyone be present to pick up their food\, that sign-ins are 
 per household (if you're at the same address\, you are considered one hous
 ehold)\, and to please note that items are limited to ensure there is enou
 gh food for everyone.&nbsp\; Everyone is welcome to return between 3 and 3
 :30 pm to pick up additional food items without the stringent item limitat
 ions during our Saturday Second Helpings.&nbsp\; Please see that event lis
 ting for more details.</p>\n<p>This program is possible only through our a
