Artificial intelligence is opening new pos sibilities for family history research! Join the Northeast Indiana Jewish Genealogical Society (NEIJGS) and the Allen County Public Library Genealog y Center for the second meeting of our AI Special Interest Group (AI SIG).
\nBuilding on our first session\, we will continue exploring how ar tificial intelligence can assist genealogists in their research. Participa nts will have the opportunity to discover practical AI applications\, shar e experiences\, ask questions\, and develop new skills they can put to use in their own family history projects.
\nEach meeting follows our in teractive 20/20/20 format: a 20-minute introduction to an AI tool or conce pt\, 20 minutes of group discussion\, and 20 minutes of guided hands-on pr actice. This approach encourages participants to learn from one another wh ile gaining practical experience with emerging technology.
\nWhether you attended our first meeting or are joining us for the first time\, all experience levels are welcome. Bring your questions\, research challenges \, and curiosity as we continue discovering how AI can become a valuable t ool in genealogical research.
\nNo prior AI experience is re quired. The AI SIG meets virtually on the third Wednesday of each month.
