 a href="https://www.hospicewaterloo.ca/">Hospice Waterloo Region</a> was f
 ounded in 1993 by Lucille Mitchell\, a local resident who recognized the n
 eed for hospice palliative care services in the Waterloo Region. Hospice&r
 squo\;s core program is the Volunteer Visiting Program. Individuals living
  with life-threatening illness are matched one on one with a highly traine
 d hospice volunteer who commits to making weekly visits to the client&rsqu
 o\;s home to provide emotional and practical support.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\
