  emeritus of Nova Southeastern University. Over his six-decade\, multi-fac
 eted career\, he has served with dignity\, empathy\, and courage. A first-
 generation college graduate and Eagle Scout\, he spent more than thirty ye
 ars serving as a teacher and city manager\, helping lead transformative in
 itiatives in communities including Virginia Beach\, Portsmouth\, and Fort 
 Lauderdale. His career has spanned local government\, higher education\, a
 nd civic life\, providing a rare perspective on disciplined leadership\, i
 nstitutional\, transformation\, financial stewardship\, and innovation. Th
 rough his speaking and writing\, Dr. Hanbury shares lessons on integrity\,
  citizenship\, mentorship\, and creating the conditions for people and org
