Bettendorf Public Library and the Midwest Writing Center team up to bring in six different authors throughout the ye ar on a bimonthly basis. \; This month we are excited to host Rock Isl and author\, Paul-Thomas Ferguson. \;

Dr. Ferguson does it all . \; He writes novels\, poetry\, short-stories\, music\, produces radi o shows\, web series\, and feature films. \; With an extensive and cre dentialed background in history\, including professional work as a profess or and archivist\, his writings often feature historical fiction with supe rnatural elements. \; This presentation will focus on his fourth novel \, Watershed\, set in the former town of Vishnu Springs\, IL (near Macomb) during the late 19th century. \; The story follows a young servant in the 1880s who is plagued by disaster\, not to mention dark supernatural e ncounters.
