Kindergartners through 4th graders meet wi th a trained therapy pet and its handler for 15-minute reading sessions. S tudents spend the time reading a book or two with just the dog and the han dler to practice reading aloud.

The week of the event\, a Library staff will call from first registered to last in order to place those sign ed up into time slots. \;
