\nBorths arr ives as the Director of Opera and Musical Theater at Capital University af ter serving 4 years as Arizona Opera's Resident Stage Director and Directo r of Education and Community Engagement: directing new productions\, manag ing education programs\, and creating community initiatives that reached 7 0\,000 people annually. Additionally\, Borths is a member of the summer di recting staff of Des Moines Metro Opera and has held positions at the Cran e School of Music (SUNY Potsdam)\, the Seagle Music Colony\, and the Crest ed Butte Music Festival.
\nAs an assistant director\, Borths has wor ked with many opera companies including Arizona Opera\, Wolf Trap Opera\, Michigan Opera Theater\, Des Moines Metro Opera\, and the Festival della V alle d'Itria\, and his educational adaptations of classic operas have been seen at Toledo Opera\, Atlanta Opera\, Arizona Opera\, and the Florida St ate University.
