 e</strong> has a large goal that can only be accomplished with small and m
 eaningful motions. They are working together to establish a support networ
 k for the Barrie Downtown that will eventually be extended to other neighb
 ourhoods throughout the city in order to encourage plastic bag alternative
 s. Their mission is to start a conversation about consumption and action t
 hrough community mobilization.</p>\n<p>Boomerang Bags Barrie is working to
  provide free reusable bags fabricated out of locally recycled textiles to
  shops in the Downtown core that can be borrowed by shoppers who have forg
 otten their reusable bags. Community members donate fabric and other texti
 les which are then transformed into reusable bags by volunteer sewers. The
  bags can later be returned to any participating location in Barrie for an
 other forgetful environmentalist to use. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Find them on inst
