X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Dave Gould explores the potential of repur
 posed objects in his sound and visual art.&nbsp\; His attraction to shiny
 things has led him to include lighting of some form in much of his work.</
 p>\n<p>The triptych with truck is a model he made of his truck with oil ca
 ns of the same era.&nbsp\; Although Dave seeks simple design that balances
  form and function\, this is an ironic example of an impractical key holde
 r.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>The triptych of maps explores Gould's fascination
  with sound patterns and how they relate/influence the migration patterns
 of people's around the world.&nbsp\; The middle piece is a reference to na
 tural harmonics and homage to inventor and composer\, Harry Partch.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Gould collaborated with local artist\, Carolina Gama who m
 ade the right piece and contributed to the middle one.</p>\n<p>This image
 is the radiator from his car.&nbsp\; With LED backlighting it is transform
 ed into an interactive display of northern lights.</p>\nhttps://hpl.libnet
