 aith live in all of us.</p>\n<p>McBride is the author of&nbsp\;<em>Miracle
  at St. Anna</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>Song Yet Sung</em>\, the Anisfield-Wolf-winn
 ing memoir&nbsp\;<em>The Color of Water</em>\, and National Book Award-win
 ning <em>The Good Lord Bird.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</em>He is an alum of Oberlin Co
 llege\, and he is currently a Distinguished Writer in Residence at New Yor
