 nd Technology\, Salt Lake City Public Library and the Confucius Institute 
 at the University of Utah jointly hold the&nbsp\;8th Utah Children's Chine
 se Calligraphy and Painting Exhibit and Contest from Tuesday\, January 21 
 through Friday\, March 13\, 2020 at the Salt Lake City Public Library. Stu
 dents from age 5 to age 17 are encouraged to submit their original artwork
  on Chinese calligraphy or Chinese painting to the Salt Lake City Public L
 ibrary. All participating students will receive incentive materials for th
 eir future practice of Chinese calligraphy and painting.</p>\n<p>Drop off 
 student calligraphy or painting in the Children's Department - Monday\, Ja
 nuary 6 through Sunday\, January 12. No submissions will be accepted after
  the deadline.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Each submission must include the author's na
 me\, age\, and title of the artwork in English. All submitted artwork has 
 to be ready for hanging on the wall\, either in a frame or on a scroll.&nb
 sp\;</p>\n<p>Members of the public are encouraged to come and vote for the
 ir favorite piece in the exhibit on Tuesday\, January 28th from 6:00 to 8:
 00 pm.&nbsp\;The Contest winners will be selected through popular votes an
