 >When I thought about what made me unique as an artist\, I thought of two
 things: one\, I'm a teen\, two\, I live in Salt Lake City. The more I thou
ght about it\, the more I realized what they have in common. Both teens an
d Salt Lake have extremes\, character\, history\, and are often misunderst
ood. The more I thought about it the more connections I could make. Becaus
e of this\, I decided to photograph teens from Salt Lake in Salt Lake in a
 n attempt to show these commonalities.</p>\n<p><strong>ARTIST BIO:</strong
 ></p>\n<p>My name is&nbsp\;Simon&nbsp\;Peaslee\, and I&rsquo\;m a local ph
otographer in Salt Lake City\, Utah. Ever since I was little I can remembe
r loving cameras. It always felt right to just hold one and take photos. I
t all started with a small Nikon Coolpix S210 point and shoot that I proba
bly got around the age of 9. Since then I haven&rsquo\;t been able to put
cameras down. I am now 17\, and as passionate about photography as ever.</
