 r social connection for kids through fun learning activities.&nbsp\; Using
  virtual video chat\, kids are introduced to new concepts and ideas in fun
  and engaging ways.&nbsp\; Topics range from a variety of educational disc
 iplines such as science and technology\, arts\, social studies and more.</
 p>\n<p><strong>This week we will be exploring the Sciencesubject of the On
 tario school curriculum by discussing biodiversity and creating our own un
 ique animals. For this activity\, the following materials will be needed: 
 paper\, markers\, pencils\, and other art supplies you have on hand.</stro
 ng></p>\n<p>This program is geared towards children aged 8-12.</p>\n<p><st
 rong>The program will be conducted over the Zoom video platform.&nbsp\;For
  saftey and attendance purposes\, please register for the programing using
  your childs first name.</strong> For instructions on how to use Zoom\, pl
 ease watch this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIkCmbvAHQQ&amp\;
 feature=youtu.be">video</a>. <strong>Library staff will email the Zoom lin
 k to all participants an hour before the program begins.</strong>&nbsp\;Yo
 u do not have to have a Zoom account to attend this program. However\, if 
 you do not have the software you will be prompted to download it when you 
 click on the link provided. There is no charge for the download but it doe
 s take a few minutes to complete so please allow time before the start of 
 the program to do so.</p>\n<p><strong>During the program please make sure 
 there is an adult nearby to supervise your child and to ensure the best po
 ssible use of internet resources\, provide technical assistance and to mai
 ntain behaviour.&nbsp\;</strong>The Library cannot and does not act in pla
