 s</p>\n<p>Brushes--The nicer the brushes are\, the easier painting will be
 .</p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 flat 1-inch brush</li>\n<li>1 medium (1/8 inch) round h
 ead brush</li>\n<li>1 tiny as you can get\, round brush</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Wa
 ter cup&mdash\;one you can just throw away after</p>\n<p>A paper plate or 
 paint mixing palette</p>\n<p>Paper towels</p>\n<p>A plate that has a diame
 ter smaller than the height of your canvas</p>\n<p>A 12-inch ruler</p>\n<p
 >Paints: Acrylic paint\, not craft paint.&nbsp\; 2-2.5 oz tubes are great.
 </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cadmium red or a basic red</li>\n<li>Cadmium yellow</li>\n
 <li>White</li>\n<li>Black</li>\n<li>Optional: orange and/or magenta</li>\n
