Join us for the \;Braver Angels Skills for Bridging the Divide Workshop to learn skills for having respectful&nb sp\;conversations that clarify differences\, search for common ground\, an d affirm the importance of
the relationship.

After a presenta tion\, you will have an opportunity to practice conversation skills. You w ill \;practice in a pair with someone of your same political persuasio n&mdash\;red or blue. &ldquo\;Reds&rdquo\; lean
conservative and tend to vote Republican. &ldquo\;Blues&rdquo\; lean liberal and tend to vote D emocratic. If \;you fall somewhere in the middle\, you can choose a si de for purposes of practicing the skills.

...Knowledge of what it takes to have constructive\, non-polarizing conversations between people who disagree politically

Before the 9/29 workshop\, particip ants \;need to take this 40 minute introductory \;on-line training&nbs p\;ahead of the scheduled Zoom meeting. \; It can be paused and resume d\, so you don't need to dedicate one block of time to do it. \;
