In the early months of 2020\, COVID-19 cas es accelerated in the United States as primary elections were being held a cross the country. Numerous states have had to adjust their systems to ada pt to this new public health crisis\, including Illinois. In this presenta tion\, Tyler St. Clair from Common Cause Illinois will discuss the impact that COVID-19 had on the primary election here in Illinois\, how the impac ts affected election preparation\, and what voters can expect leading up t o November.
