  thinking Americans" by the&nbsp\;Springfield Republican&nbsp\;when it was
  published in 1935\,&nbsp\;It Can't Happen Here&nbsp\;is a shockingly pres
 cient novel that remains as fresh and contemporary as today's news.</p>\n<
