 rsquo\;s secret service.</p>\n<p>Jack Briggs\, Ph.D.\, was a classroom tea
 cher for over forty years and has given storytelling and history programs 
 since 1984. Briggs has served as a consultant to Independence National His
 torical Park\, the National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Instit
 ution\, Wilmington University\, West Chester School District\, and the Ame
 rican Friends Service Committee. He holds a BA in history from Swarthmore 
 College and a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania. 
 He retired from Friends&rsquo\; Central School in Wynnewood\, PA\, and res
